Delivery failures and retries

A submission that is retrying has not failed. Retry scheduled and Needs review are two different states.

A customer-specific temporary failure receives another automatic attempt only while fewer than five customer-specific delivery attempts have been made and the workspace still has retry allowance available. Google-wide throttling and outages use a separate jittered recovery window so one provider incident does not consume the customer's failure allowance.

These are two different states and the console keeps them apart. Retry scheduled means the work is still in hand and needs nothing from you. Needs review means delivery has stopped and is waiting for you. A submission that is retrying has not failed.

Accepted delivery Retry scheduled or Needs review

A stopped submission offers Send again when a retry could still succeed, and Mark reviewed when it cannot. Sending again hands the same submission back to delivery and does not create a duplicate record.

Pro file row Retry or Remove

A file row can show Retry after an upload error. If the file breaks a visible rule, remove or replace it before submitting again.
