Edits and removals land on the right row
When you edited or removed several entries from the same Sheet at once, a change could be written to a neighbouring row. Each change now finds its row just before it writes, and changes to one Sheet are applied one at a time.
- Fixed: The bell, the banner, the Needs review filter, each connection's card and the assistant connector now count the same thing: submissions that stopped and are not marked reviewed. A delivery with another attempt scheduled is no longer counted, and the card says whether your Sheet or your webhook could not be reached.
- New: Send test event in a connection's Setup sends one signed webhook.test request to your saved web address and tells you what your webhook answered. The saved address is shown masked until you choose Change, and it says Saved beside the field.
- New: When edit or remove links are on and the form has no email field, Setup says so: add an email field so people get their links, until then they are only in your Sheet. Your assistant now also sees a form's links as on when its linked edit and remove forms put them on the rows.
- Improved: The Webtzm helper asks before it changes a setting unless you asked it to, answers a typed yes or no to the choices it just offered, and answers a question about your own email with your alert's current state instead of offering to switch the output.
- Fixed: Owner edits and removals sent together no longer change or delete another entry's row. If a row has moved by the time a change is written, Webtzm looks it up again instead of writing to the old position.
- Improved: Connect Google in the Webtzm helper now reacts as soon as the connection is made and carries Google's own button styling.
- New: A connection's Setup now tells you when a submission came from an older copy of your published page, or carried an answer your form no longer offers. The submission is still delivered.
- Improved: File fields on a published form are announced by their label to screen readers, and the error icon is no longer read out as an extra item.
- Improved: Images are checked as soon as they are picked, so a file that cannot be read as an image is refused before the visitor submits.
- New: Check Sheet matches entries, in a connection's Setup under Google output, compares every row of your Sheet with the entries Webtzm saved. It can delete a row left behind by an entry you removed and put back a missing entry while its answers are still kept, and it shows any row that differs so you can decide. Nothing changes until you choose a fix.
- Improved: Your AI assistant now sees whether each submission added a row or changed or removed one, which entry it changed, and when an entry was removed. It can look up one submission and page back past the newest twenty.
Edit and remove entries from your console
You can now edit or remove a delivered entry yourself, without a link and without opening the Sheet.
- New: Edit and Remove for every delivered entry in the console. Entries show who sent them, and changed or removed entries carry an Edited or Removed label.
- New: Removing an entry can also delete the files that were uploaded with it, when you choose that for the connection or for that one removal.
- Fixed: A webhook that keeps failing now ends in Needs review so you can send it again, instead of stopping quietly.
- Fixed: Entries that were accepted but never started delivery are picked up and delivered.
- Fixed: Changes to the same row are applied in the order they were made.
- Fixed: Empty files are refused on the form with a clear message instead of being offered a retry.
- Improved: Submissions and Analytics load page by page, so large forms open quickly and nothing past the first page is left out.
- Improved: The synced time on a row refreshes when the entry is edited, and search ignores accents.
Hosted pages follow your field rules
Fixes from the latest round of testing the hosted edit, remove and test pages and the console's quick actions.
- Fixed: The hosted test, edit and remove pages now honour the form's field rules, such as fields that only show for certain answers.
- Fixed: Edit links show a change that has been accepted but not yet written to the Sheet.
- Fixed: Confirmation emails to visitors say when one was skipped, instead of leaving it unrecorded.
- Improved: Search in Quick actions filters the list as you type, and Sheet columns are sized to fit their content.
- Improved: The Builder asks before discarding changes you have not saved.
- Improved: The Setup page lists its sections in one row and marks the section you are on.
A faster console
The console does less work each time it opens.
- Improved: Opening the console reads your plan and billing once instead of repeatedly, so views appear sooner.
- Improved: The Webtzm helper shows one form block, a brief that reflects the connection's state, and feedback next to where you are working.
A more helpful helper
The Webtzm helper understands more of what you ask and walks you through your first submission.
- Improved: After you ask what a form collects, the helper offers two short walkthroughs to try it.
- Improved: The helper answers for what it recognises instead of giving a generic reply. Pronouns no longer pick a field, and fields match by whole words.
- Improved: The helper opens with what it can do, Connect a form asks for a name and then the fields, and the preview shows every field type.
A new look for the home page
The home page now shows how a form reaches Google.
- New: A live animation of a submission travelling to your Sheet, a Works with strip, and a three-step How it works.
Connections: every form as a live route to Google
The console was rebuilt around Connections. Each form is a route from your site to a Google Sheet, with its state in plain words.
- New: The Connections home draws every form as a live route to Google. States read Delivered to Sheet, In delivery, Needs review, Paused or Ready.
- New: Setup replaces the old form page, and a new connection asks for its name first.
- New: The Webtzm helper sits beside the canvas to build and change a connection by describing it.
- Improved: Every generated form includes the enhancement script by default, and the form test page shows an honest result.
- Improved: Analytics explains how it places a submission on the map. Billing reads as one column.
- Improved: The browser's Back button steps through the console, and leaving unsaved changes asks twice before discarding them.
Sites, Gmail and Google in fewer steps
Setting up the places a form is allowed to run and the alerts it sends takes fewer steps.
- Improved: One Allowed domains field with a list of your sites, so a site is added without typing it out.
- Improved: Connect Gmail in place, and Connect Google in its own window that returns to the page you were on, so a draft is never lost.
- Improved: A saved form's type is locked once it is created, so it cannot be changed by accident.
Edit and remove links, and Use with AI
Visitors can correct or withdraw their own entry, and assistants can set up a form for you.
- New: Signed edit and remove links for rows in a managed Sheet, with settings for them in the console.
- New: Use with AI gives you a prompt to copy into Claude or ChatGPT with no setup, and assistants can create Update and Delete forms and turn on reading records.
- Improved: The console is organised around Forms, Activity, Use with AI and Account.
Conditions on published forms
Rules you set in the Builder now apply to the form your visitors see.
- New: Field conditions from the Builder apply on published forms, and a Drive folder picker lets you choose where uploads go.
